Villagers surrounded Kotwal due to lack of missing teacher:


Doiwala. Angry villagers gheraoed the city Kotwal due to non-availability of retired teacher Subhash Chandra Sharma, resident of Jeevanwala. Villagers have demanded to find the retired teacher soon.

Retired teacher Subhash Sharma had left the house on the evening of August 30, around five o’clock. After this, a CCTV footage appeared on the way to a house in the neighbourhood. Even after 13 days, angry villagers surrounded the Kotwal on Sunday and demanded to find him soon. Jeevanwala village head Paramjeet Kaur, junior chief Vinod Rana and former district panchayat member Naseeb Kaur, etc. demanded to find out from Kotwal soon. At the same time, due to non-availability of retired teacher, the family is in bad condition. The workers of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal also supported the villagers. Party leader Shivprasad Semwal demanded a thorough investigation of all aspects from the police administration. During this, Virendra Mohan Joshi, Somendra Mohan, Principal Representative Gurjit Singh, Pappu Devrani, Sunderlal Bijlawan, Deepak Pal, Krishna Devi, Sunil Bahuguna, Radha Sharma etc. were present. Nagar Kotwal Rajendra Singh Rawat assured that thorough investigation is being done. Results will come out soon.
