Bageshwar. The Upanal employees demanding regularization and equal pay for equal work performed a havan in the Bagnath temple for the purification of the government’s wisdom. The employees warned of agitation if the five-point problems were not resolved soon.
Under the two-day program, the Upal employees took out a rally from the Tehsil premises to the Collectorate on Monday and sent a memorandum to the CM through DM. On Tuesday, the Upal employees posted in various departments under the banner of the United Front, gathered at the Bagnath temple and performed a havan.
Upal workers prayed to Baba Bagnath to give good wisdom to the state government. Morcha District President Prakash Upadhyay said that for a long time, there has been a demand to make rules for regularization, equal pay for equal work, for a long time.
Morcha District President Prakash Upadhyay said that in addition to salary and regularization, the employees have increased the salary and reinstatement of the sub-divisional employees removed from various departments, the posts of the employees posted from the sub-division in the new recruitments are not shown vacant, the departments from which the sub-divisional employees have been removed. They have been re-adjusted in the department, are demanding to convert their interrupted service into continuous service and provide insurance of Rs 20 lakh to the sub-employees and job to the dependent in case the employee dies in the line of duty.
The employees will also tell their problems to the CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, who is visiting the district. Despite this, if the demand is not met, then there will be agitation.
