Tragic accident in Maharashtra: Seven medical students killed in car fall from bridge, MLA’s son also killed

Seven medical students, including Avishkar Rahangdale, son of BJP MLA from Tirora Vijay Rahangdale, were killed when their car fell off a bridge near Selsura in Maharashtra at around 11.30 pm last night. All of them were going from Deoli to Wardha Sawangi Medical College. It is being told that while passing through Selsura Shivar, suddenly a wild animal came near the bridge, in order to save it, the car fell into the ditch uncontrollably. The students who died in the accident include Avishkar Rahangdale (son of BJP MLA), Neeraj Chauhan, Nitish Singh, Vivek Nandan, Pratyush Singh, Shubham Jay and Pawan Shakti.

Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to the families of those who lost their lives
PM Modi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund and Rs 50,000 for the injured to the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the accident near Selsura, Maharashtra. The Prime Minister's Office has given this information.
