Three lakh fraud case filed in Dehradun:
The police have registered a case after six years in the case of cheating of three lakh rupees in the name of employment. The victim used to make rounds of the police stations and outposts, but when he was not heard anywhere, he reached the Director General of Police with a complaint, then the Patelnagar Kotwali police has registered a case.
Yashwant Singh, a music teacher at JP Vidya Mandir Joshimath, told that he had come to Rajpur Road Dehradun on March 29, 2015, to give a competitive examination. He was waiting for his friend near Rajpur Road Park after the examination was over. In the meantime, village Paida Bhandeldi Bhilangana Tehri Garhwal, resident of House Lal Basriyal, met him. House Lal took the victim in a scooter and took him towards ISBT and got him to meet Dipesh Chauhan resident Jaspur Udhamsinghnagar and Sandeep Pal resident Sahasradhara Road. All three got the job. In the name of installation, a demand of five lakh rupees was made. Yashwant came in their words and after getting the amount from here and there, gave two lakh rupees to the accused. A few days later, the trio called the victim that a job was about to take place, so money was needed. Yashwant came under the guise of the accused and gave one lakh more rupees. After taking three lakh rupees, the accused neither returned the money nor got the job done. Yashwant told that he had complained to Police Inspector Chamoli, but no action was taken on it.
