STPI Dehradun organized the outreach webinar on Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS) CHUNAUTI4.0 challenge contest on 21st July 2022 (Thursday). Through this NGIS CHUNAUTI 4.0 STPI is looking to identify and support promising startup working towards Digital India enabling Social Empowerment with focus on sectors like Agriculture, Education, Healthcare & Wellness, Banking & Finance, E-commerce, and Environment etc. The following esteemed speakers from various organization attended the event Dr. Rajneesh Agrawal, Director, STPI Noida , Sh. Sudhir Chandra Nautiyal, Director, Industries Govt of Uttarakhand , Sh. Pankaj Gupta, Chief Mentor – NGIS Dehradun & President Industries Association of Uttarakhand (IAU), Dr. S. D. Samantaray, Professor & Head, Deptt. of Computer Engineering, GBPUAT,Pantnagar,Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, Sh. Gaurav Lamba, Head, CII Uttarakhand, Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Additional Director , STPI-Noida and Sh. Maneesh Kumar, Additional Director and Officer Incharge- STPI Dehradun. More than 55 Startups/Entrepreneurs have partcipated from Uttarakhand.

Dr. Rajneesh Agrawal, Director, STPI Noida has said that STPI Dehradun has disbursed seed fund of Rs. 1.0 Crore to 04 numbers of startups. 41 employees/interns of 14 start-ups at STPI Dehradun has been granted stipend @Rs.10000/- per month to develop their idea into product. The same benefits will be given to selected start-ups under this challenge. The scheme has more than 125+ mentors across India and 46 knowledge partners.

He also said that, Dehradun Incubation Centre is also recognized as Incubator by Startup Council of Govt of Uttarakhand and on boarded as alliance of Startup Uttarakhand. Department of IT (ITDA), Govt. of Uttarakhand is also taking efforts to engage NGIS Startups in various projects in the state and allowed them to access their IoT lab for healthcare and medical sector.

This round of CHUNAUTI4.0 challenge is emphasized on ‘Digital India Enabling Social Empowerment”. NGIS CHUNAUTI 4.0 is one such platform for the inspiring start-ups to pursue their dream to become a successful entrepreneur. Through this platform STPI is offering an umbrella of support services by means of providing financial support, mentoring support, availability of world class infrastructure, access to labs, legal, IPR etc to nurture them right from the beginning of their journey as startup to transform them into a sustainable and fully grown enterprise. This time also we are looking forward to board startups providing innovative solutions through technology in the areas like agritech, healthcare, edutech, deep tech solutions, banking and financial, social empowerment, accessibility, emerging technologies etc.
