New Delhi: Aug. 26. Finally, a decision has been made at the all-party meeting. After the meeting, the government stated that the situation of Afghanistan remains “critical” as Taliban’s aggression and takeover. The country’s “top priority” is to evacuation of Indian personnel from Afghanistan soil.
The meeting was scheduled from 11.00 am was attended by 37 leaders from 31 parties, in a tweet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that he had briefed the floor leaders of all political parties regarding the situation in Afghanistan.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said “There is longstanding national sentiment on Afghanistan. Therefore, there is national concern now at developments,” he also stated following the meeting “All parties have similar views, we approached the issue with a spirit of national unity,”.
