“Sh. Harbans Singh, SP City Haldwani Flags Off Kathgodam Half Marathon, Urges Community to Join Fight Against Drug Abuse”

Kathgodam, Uttarakhand- May 14th, 2023 – The fourth edition of the Kathgodam Half Marathon was held today, with over 520 runners participating in the event, held at Golapar, Kathgodam. The event aimed to promote a healthy and active lifestyle while also raising awareness about drug abuse and its impact on society, the event was organised by Thrill Zone. This was 97th event by Thrill Zone in India since 2015.

The runners participated in three different categories, including 21km, 10km, and 5km, all of which saw enthusiastic participation from the runners. The event was flagged off by Sh. Harbans Singh, SP City Haldwani, who emphasized the importance of promoting healthy living and raising awareness about drug abuse in the community.

The Kathgodam Half Marathon has been an important fixture on the sporting calendar for the past four years, and this year’s event was no exception. The runners displayed great spirit, dedication, and sportsmanship, all while contributing towards the worthy cause of raising awareness about drug abuse.
