Outgoing Governor Baby Rani Maurya left Doon, army contingent saluted:


Outgoing Governor Baby Rani Maurya left for Delhi from Dehradun on Monday. Earlier, a contingent of the Indian Army Corps Maratha Battalion saluted the outgoing Governor at the Raj Bhavan. The outgoing governor was saluted by a police guard at Jolly Grant Airport. Earlier, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Chief Secretary Dr SS Sandhu, District Magistrate R Rajesh Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police Janmejay Khanduri reached Raj Bhavan and made a courtesy call on the outgoing Governor.
On the other hand, the newly appointed Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General (Retd) Gurmeet Singh will reach Raj Bhavan on Tuesday at 5.15 pm. Brijesh Kumar Sant, Secretary to the Governor, said that he will take oath as the Governor at 10.45 am on Wednesday. Chief Justice RS Chauhan will administer the oath to him.

Earlier, a contingent of the Indian Army Corps Maratha Battalion saluted the outgoing Governor at the Raj Bhavan. The outgoing governor was saluted by a police guard at Jolly Grant Airport. Earlier, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Chief Secretary Dr SS Sandhu, District Magistrate R Rajesh Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police Janmejay Khanduri reached Raj Bhavan and made a courtesy call on the outgoing Governor.
