Online ration distribution stalled due to server down, website not improving even after repeated complaints:
The online ration distribution system in the district has come to a standstill due to the downing of the food department’s website. There is anger among the ration dealers due to the lack of improvement in the system even after repeatedly complaining about the server being down. Ration dealers have demanded the department to improve the website or stop the online distribution system.
The neglect of the department is overshadowing all the ongoing efforts for online ration distribution. Biometric and online ration distribution is not being done due to the server being down on the website of the Food Department. Patel Nagar-based ration dealer Sanjay Verma told that he has been distributing ration online for a long time. But the website of the department is so slow that it takes 15 to 20 minutes to give ration to a person. For the last few days, even opening the website has become difficult.
A complaint has been made to the officials of the supply department, but no improvement has been made in it. On the other hand, District Supply Officer Jaswant Singh Kandari said that in the first two weeks of the month, due to the heavy load on the website, there is a problem in the distribution of biometric online ration. This information has been given to Headquarters.
Ration dealers will boycott food day
The government is preparing to celebrate Food Day on November 1. But even before this, the ration dealers have started protesting against it. Jitendra Gupta, president of the Sasta Galla Vendor Council, said that two years are about to pass, but the commission and freight for the free ration distributed by the ration dealers during Corona has not been released yet. Spent crores of rupees from ration dealers across the state from his own pocket, left concern for himself and family in Corona and worked for others. Despite this, they are not getting their due money.
