Now anti-coronavirus vaccine on the spot can also be administered in Dehradun district. For this, mobile vaccination teams have been formed. The Health Department has taken this initiative to achieve the target of 100% immunization within the stipulated period. Under this, five mobile vaccination teams were sent to different areas of the district on Thursday.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Upreti, District Immunization Officer Dr. Dinesh Chauhan and District Nodal Officer of Kovin Dr. Aditya Singh flagged off the mobile teams from CMO office at Chandernagar. These teams will go to areas with high population density and vaccinate the residents there on the spot. The Chief Medical Officer expressed hope that this will speed up the vaccination and will also provide convenience to the general public. The registration of those vaccinated will also be done on the spot. He appealed that more and more people should take advantage of this facility.
