Uttarakhand’s CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announces the name of the Indian Idol 12 Winner Pawandeep Rajan as the state’s Art, Tourism and culture brand Ambassador.

Proud moment for Uttarakhand after Pawandeep Rajan won the title of Indian Idol recently. His birth city is Champawat in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Pawandeep’s family lives in Talli Chowki village of Champawat district. He was born in 1996. His father Suresh Rajan, mother Saroj Rajan and sisters are Kumaoni folk artists. He started playing tabla as a two-year old.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on wednesday announces the name of Indian Idol 2021 winner Pawandeep Rajan as the state’s Art, Tourism and Culture brand ambassador. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said “Pawandeep Rajan has lifted the value of “Devbhoomi” in the world of music. He made Uttarakhand famous across the country and abroad, Dhami ji added. The CM took to twitter to make the announcement and also shared a video with the singer.
