Corona in Uttarakhand: 14 new infected found on Friday, first dose of vaccine for all in Dehradun district:

In Uttarakhand, 14 new corona infected have been found in the last 24 hours. At the same time, two patients have died. While 23 patients were sent home after recovery. The number of active cases has reached 238. Whereas on Thursday there were 249 active cases in the state.

According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department, the test report of 16039 samples has come negative on Friday. Not a single infected patient has been found in seven districts – Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi. At the same time, two infected patients have been found in Champawat and Haridwar, four each in Dehradun and Nainital, one each in Pauri and Tehri.
So far the total number of corona infected in the state has gone up to 343459. Of these, 329738 people have been cured. A total of 7393 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state. The recovery rate of the state has been recorded at 96.01 percent and the infection rate at 0.09 percent.

Everyone got the first dose of corona vaccine in Dehradun district
There is relief news regarding corona vaccination in Dehradun district. All people above 18 years of age in the district have received the first dose of corona vaccine. With the cooperation of district administration and health department officials, doctors, other personnel and various social organizations, this target was achieved in about nine months. During the entire campaign, a strategy was made from time to time and in view of the additional responsibilities of the work, three district immunization officers were also changed.

District Immunization Officer Dr. Dinesh Chauhan informed that the department had received the list of immunization of 1427,997 people above 18 years of age in the district. In which 41215 health workers, 28413 front line workers, 911583 aged between 18 and 44 years, 516414 people above 45 years of age are targeted to get both doses of corona vaccine.
Out of this, the target of administering the first dose of the vaccine has been met. Whereas, 93 percent of the people have already taken the second dose. Dr. Chouhan informed that the target of administering the second dose of vaccine will also be completed soon. District Magistrate Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Upreti have congratulated the entire team on this achievement. Along with this, he has also thanked the cooperation of social organizations and general public. He has appealed that everyone should get the second dose also.
Covid vaccination accelerated, target reduced
Kovid vaccination has increased in the state. This is reducing the target of 100% vaccination by December 31. Now less than 60 thousand people will have to get the vaccine dose every day. In the last 10 days, 787390 people were vaccinated in the state.
So far more than one crore people have been given the Kovid vaccine in the state. Due to the continuous increase in vaccination, the target of 100 days per day has also come down. By December 31, to get 100 percent people vaccinated, now 59470 doses will have to be administered every day.

The vaccination analysis report was released by the Social Development for Community Foundation. Till September 22, 72.77 lakh people above the age of 18 years have been given the first dose and 28.76 lakh have been given both doses of vaccine in the state. So far, a total of 1.01 crore vaccines have been given.

According to the data of the Health Department, the number of people in the age group of 18 to 44 years in the state in need of Kovid vaccine is 49.34 lakh and the number of people above 45 years of age is more than 27.95 lakh. Apart from this, the number of registered health care workers in the state is 1.28 lakh and the number of front line workers is more than 1.93 lakh.

SDC Foundation President Anoop Nautiyal said that there has been some reduction in the daily target in the last 10 days. So far the vaccination figure has crossed one crore. Now 59470 people will have to be vaccinated every day in 100 days.
