Cooking Tips: Make sour kadhi without curd or lassi in these ways:

If you are craving to eat kadhi but you have run out of curd or lassi in your kitchen, then you do not need to worry at all because you can make kadhi without curd also.  We are telling you such tips, without which your curd will turn sour without curd.

Tomato kadhi:
Tomato kadhi is very easy to make. Instead of curd, you can add tomato and bring sourness. Boil tomatoes in it and use its puree. If you want, you can also cook tomatoes with tempering and put them in gram flour.

Tamarind kadhi:
Instead of curd or lassi kadhi, you can make tamarind water kadhi.  Put tamarind pulp in 1 cup of lukewarm water and leave it for some time, then mash it and filter the water. After tempering in the gram flour, you can make kadhi by adding this water. If you want, you can also use tamarind leaves to bring sourness to the kadhi. 

Lemon kadhi:
The best addition to curd  is lemon juice kadhi.  To make it, the whole process is similar to that of kadhi, but instead of whey, water with lemon juice can be added.  Just keep in mind that the amount of lemon juice should be right. Otherwise, the prepared kadhi may turn sour.

Mango kadhi:
Peel the raw mango and cut it into small pieces. Boil it with 1 cup of water. Cool it and mash it with water. Strain this water and add it to the gram flour to make kadhi.

Amchur Wali Kadhi:
Amchur can bring sourness in vegetables, pulses. Eating kadhi in Bhadon is considered taboo because it is not good for health. If there is no lemon, mango or tomato in the kitchen, then Amchur also brought sourness to the kadhi. 

Pomegranate Grain kadhi:
Pomegranate seeds are used to enhance the taste of Aloo Parathas. But if you feel like eating kadhi, then boil a bowl of pomegranate seeds with a cup.  Cool it and filter it.  After sifting in the gram flour, add it.

Make sour kadhi with vinegar:
If you do not have any of the above ingredients in the kitchen and you have a strong urge to eat kadhi, then you can also add sourness to the kadhi with vinegar kept in the fridge.  Keep in mind that do not add any flavored vinegar to it and use the normal one.
