Application date extended for three recruitment exams, read news and apply soon
The Uttarakhand government has given one year relaxation in age limit for recruitment to Group B posts. In such a situation, the State Public Service Commission has also extended the date of filling the application along with giving relaxation of one year for the recruitment to the post of Assistant Geologist, Forest Officer and Assistant Prosecution.
The state government had decided to give one year relaxation in the prescribed age limit for applying to various Group C posts in view of the lockdown implemented during the Corona period some time back. After this the government decided to give relaxation in age limit for Group B posts also. After this, now the Commission has extended the date of application by giving this relaxation. Under this, the last date for Assistant Geologist has been made September 17. At the same time, the last date for sending the certificate is October 4. The last date to apply for the post of Forest Officer and Assistant Prosecution Officer has been extended to 17 September. All other conditions will remain as before.
Let us tell you that after almost five years, the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) examination is being held in the state. At this time there are many applicants who have crossed the prescribed age limit to appear in PCS exam this year. He had requested the government to give relaxation of one year to Group B posts also.
DLED trained demand from CM to speed up recruitment

Agitating against the delay in teacher recruitment in primary schools, the agitating DLED trainees have met the Chief Minister and demanded that the education department be strongly advocated in the High Court. The trainees said that their protest would continue till their demands were not met. The Chief Minister has assured proper action on their demand.
Himanshu Joshi, State Secretary of DIET DElEd trained organization said that the primary teacher recruitment is pending for the last three years. The main reason for which is the lack of effective advocacy of recruitment cases in the court. Therefore, in order to get the recruitment done soon, all the claims related to recruitment should be advocated by the Advocate General of the state. Joshi said that the Chief Minister said that the government is committed to complete the recruitment at the earliest. It will be advocated by the Advocate General in the next hearing.
